Dawnwood / Use cases / AI Anime Drama
SERIES FACTORY · COMIC LOOK

A story in. An anime drama season out.

Pick the Comic look when you start a series and Dawnwood does the rest in that style: it writes the season with a hook in every episode, draws each character as an inked, cel-shaded sheet, storyboards the shots and renders vertical episodes with a voice per character — the same faces from the first episode to the last.

THE POINT

Anime drama is a series problem, not a clip problem.

What is an AI anime drama maker? A tool that turns a story into a vertical, anime-style drama series — not one pretty clip, but episodes that keep the same characters, the same art style and a story that pulls viewers into the next episode. In Dawnwood the look is a setting on the series: choose Comic and the character sheets, the scenes and every rendered shot are made in inked, cel-shaded comic style, while the season is written and paced the same way as a live-action short drama.

HOW IT WORKS

Choose the look. Write the season. Render it.

01 · STORY
Start from a story, not a prompt
Answer a free story interview, type a premise, or paste a story you hold the rights to. Set the look to Comic. The series bible and the first two episode scripts are written for free.
02 · CAST
Characters drawn once, reused everywhere
Each character gets a sheet in the series' comic style. Every shot is rendered from those sheets, so faces, hair and costumes hold across cuts and episodes.
03 · EPISODES
Storyboard, render, voice
Shots are planned before any credit is spent, then rendered with a voice per character. Run it on Auto, or step through each stage and redo any shot.
WHO IT'S FOR

For people who want episodes, not one clip.

Your own story, animated
Bring a story you wrote; it is adapted into one-to-two-minute episodes with a hook in the first seconds and a cliffhanger at the end.

QUESTIONS

Asked before you asked.

Can Dawnwood make anime-style drama, not just live-action?
Yes. Every series has a look: Live-action, which looks like a filmed drama, or Comic, which is anime and webcomic style with inked linework and flat cel shading. You choose it when you start the series, in the story interview or in Auto mode, and the whole season is drawn and rendered in that look.
Do the characters stay consistent across episodes?
Each character gets a character sheet drawn in the series' style, and every shot is rendered from those sheets, so the same face, hair and costume come back episode after episode. If a character ever comes out in the wrong style, the help center explains how to redraw the sheet.
What does it cost?
The story interview, the series bible and the first two episode scripts are free on the Free plan, and you get 500 credits on signup. Rendered video costs 5 credits per output second (Super mode 10), the same for Comic and Live-action, and failed jobs are never charged. Creator is $29/mo with 380 credits a month.
What languages can the dialogue be in?
Dialogue can be written in English, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese or Korean, with a voice per character. A finished season can then be dubbed into more languages.
Can I use my own manga or web comic?
You can paste your own story as reference material when you start the series, as long as you hold the rights to it. Dawnwood adapts it into episode scripts with a hook in the first seconds and a cliffhanger at the end of each episode.
Is it vertical?
Yes. Episodes are made 9:16 for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and short-drama apps, usually one to two minutes each.
