Dawnwood / Use cases / Character Turnaround
SERIES FACTORY · PIPELINE CAPABILITY

Every angle of your character. One face, all season.

When a Dawnwood season run starts, every character gets a model sheet: front, side and back full-body views plus a facial closeup — cut per era and per outfit, in photoreal or comic style. The season renders against that sheet, so episode 10 has the same face as episode 1.

THE POINT

A model sheet is how a season keeps its face.

What is a character turnaround (model sheet)? A character turnaround — also called a model sheet — shows one character from fixed views: front, side and back in full body, plus a facial closeup. Inside a Dawnwood season run, every character gets one per era and per outfit, and season rendering references it on every shot — which is what keeps the same face on screen across all episodes.

HOW IT WORKS IN A RUN

Cast once. Sheet it. Lock it.

01 · CAST
Pick the face
Cast each character when the run is set up — from your own reference, or from a Face Blend composite that belongs to no real person.
02 · SHEET
Generate the turnaround
The factory renders front, side and back full-body views plus a facial closeup — one sheet per era and per outfit, in photoreal or comic style.
03 · LOCK
Render every shot against it
Season rendering references the sheet as the character's identity, so the lead in the finale is recognizably the lead from the pilot.
WHY IT MATTERS

Made for stories that need the same face twice.

DRAMA & SERIES
A cast that survives ten episodes
Vertical-drama viewers notice a face swap instantly. Sheet-locked rendering is what keeps your lead the same person from hook to finale.
ERAS & WARDROBE
Same character, different decade
Sheets are cut per era and per outfit, so a flashback or a costume change updates the wardrobe — never the identity.
LIKENESS SAFETY
A face nobody owns
Cast from a Face Blend composite: an original face that belongs to no real person, locked for the season with zero likeness-rights burden.

QUESTIONS

Asked before you asked.

Can I generate a model sheet on its own, without a series?
Model sheets are a stage of Dawnwood's season pipeline, not a standalone generator. You get them by starting a season run: brief a premise, cast your characters, and the factory builds each character's sheets before any episode renders. On the Free plan you can write the season bible and full scripts before paying anything.
What views does a model sheet include?
Front, side and back in full body, plus a facial closeup. Sheets are generated separately per era and per outfit, so a time jump or a wardrobe change gets its own sheet while the face stays the same.
How does the sheet keep a face consistent across episodes?
Season rendering locks to the model sheet: every shot of a character is rendered against their sheet as the identity reference. That is what makes the lead in episode 10 recognizably the same person as in episode 1.
Photoreal or comic-style?
Both. Sheets come in two styles — live-action photoreal and comic — so the same cast can carry a realistic drama or a comic-styled one.
Do I need a real person's face to cast a character?
No. You can cast from a Face Blend composite — an original face generated from multiple references that belongs to no real person — so the season carries no likeness-rights burden.
